Thank you to everyone for the overwhelming interest in attending the Mental Health First Aid Workshop next week
Due to limited numbers allowed for the training and significant demand unfortunately registrations are now closed. We are planning on holding two more sessions of this workshop in early December 2022.
If you are interested in attending those sessions, then we are happy to include you in to the wait-list for future workshops.

Learn skills & gain confidence to assist community members experiencing Mental Health problems
About the course:
This is an early-intervention training program designed to mobilise and empower Muslim communities by equipping people with the knowledge and confidence to recognise, connect and respond to someone experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis. This is an education course, to learn how to give first aid to others, and is not a therapy or support group. This is a 12 hours course split across 4 days into 3 hour sessions. To receive certification you will be required to attend all sessions.
Venue, Day and Time: Broadmeadows Community Hub, 11th, 18th, 25th and 26th of October 2022 from 5:30pm – 8:30pm
Cost: Free (this course has been subsidised with the support of CMW and Hume City Council) but places are limited.
