CMW joined a delegation of more than 70 passionate representatives from the mental health sector at the @AUMentalHealth Mental Health Australia Parliamentary Advocacy Day, at Australian Parliament House, where we met with different members of Parliament all talking about the critical need for lived experience leadership and co-design and the importance of cross-government work to address social determinants. This included a meeting with Senator Fatima Payman on improving Mental Health outcomes for the Muslim and CALD communities as well as the need to focus on implementation and accountability from government.
