Shazzy is a UK trained and credentialed Mental Health Nurse and Counselling Psychotherapist with over 25 years’ experience working with a range of clients, including children, teens, parents, and young adults.

Shazzy is autistic and ADHD herself and has autistic and ADHD children and therefore understands the neurodivergent (ND) experience from both a personal and professional point of view from many angles. Shazzy works from a neurodivergent affirming perspective.

Shazzy is an approachable therapist with extensive experience. Shazzy is able to help with a wide range of presenting issues.

Shazzy works with Individuals, Couples, Families, Teenagers, Children, and NDIS clients. Shazzy is familiar with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Re-Processing (EMDR), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, (SFBT) Collaborative Problem Solving, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Schema Therapy, Family Therapy, Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, group work and telephone counselling.

Shazzy has the capacity to regularly communicate with other support people in the individual’s life, conduct behavioural observations, make referrals, and attend meetings with third parties.
