Monique is the Managing Director and Principal Psychologist of Nasihah Consulting Group based in Essendon, Melbourne. She has delivered psychological services to Muslim clients for the past 26 years and delivered personal development and wellbeing programs to over 50 Muslim organisations across Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia & Turkey.

Monique is a certified Cultural Intelligence (CQ) Advisor (USA) and has trained staff from over 350 organisations in cultural safety. For 6 years she was the Lead Lecturer for ‘Multicultural Counselling’ and ‘Culture and Psychology’ at the Australian Catholic University and is a regular guest lecturer at other universities.

Monique delivered ‘Culture eats individuality for breakfast’ at TEDx Docklands (2019) and is a commentator on the psychological impact of exclusion, racist bullying and the COVID pandemic for ABC news. She has been seen on Amazon Prime docuseries ‘Unheard’, ABC News and Lateline, featured in The Australian, The Age, The Herald-Sun, ABC and 3AW radio. She is the host of the podcast video series 'Be Well' for The Centre for Muslim Wellbeing.
